Beauty Nine to Five: Cherry Blossom Beauty

My favorite season (that I didn't know existed before moving from Winnipeg to Vancouver) is when the cherry blossom trees bloom and full city blocks are covered in pink petals. I believe in taking inspiration from everything around you so I looked for beauty products inspired by the cherry blossom.

Hot rollers, curling irons, and straighteners can give you picture perfect curls in a hurry but totally do damage to your hair over the long run which is why I wanted to explore heatless curling methods in my latest for MTV FORA. In this piece I profile four ways to get voluminous curls without heat! My fave is the bantu buns but they all work well.

Beauty Nine to Five: Discover Flower, Drew Barrymore’s New Makeup Line

Drew Barrymore is many things (actor, philanthropist, hippie) but I never thought she'd become the owner of her own makeup line. Thankfully I was wrong because her new line Flower is cute, natural-looking and affordable. One highlight of this piece: she makes a convertible mascara wand that looks like something out of Transformers and it's sooooo cool.
